Actress and writer Nicholas Cage (left) was arrested on Wednesday in Los Angeles for allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a woman who had been offered $2,000 for a sex tape, authorities said.
Cage, who has starred in numerous movies and television shows, is a frequent guest at the Playboy Mansion, which is owned by billionaire investor James Altucher, according to TMZ.
Altucher owns The Playboy Mansion and has hosted a number of events at the property, including a Playboy Mansion Weekend in 2014.
The Playboy mansion and other properties are not listed on Altuchers website.
In May, TMZ reported that Cage had been arrested for a sexual encounter with a 22-year-old actress, whom he met online.
The woman allegedly told authorities she had been contacted by Cage after seeing his nude photos.
According to TMZ, Cage had also been arrested in July 2016 on a charge of felony lewd conduct with a child, after an undercover officer posing as a minor found him masturbating in front of her at a local hotel.
The actress told police that she had not been aware of the charges against him and that she was just a victim in a sex trafficking case.
He was arraigned on Wednesday and released on $2 million bail.
The actor is currently in the Los Angeles County Jail awaiting a trial date.
