Why Dwayne Johnson Is ‘Comedy’s Favorite Guy’

It seems like the days of the superhero and the movie star are long gone, but for one actor who has become the most popular of them all, that could change.

For a while now, the actor has been enjoying his new role as the best-looking superhero of all time in “Wonder Woman,” the latest comic book movie from DC Comics, and now the character’s popularity has him becoming one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture.

While Johnson was cast as the titular character, he’s also made waves in the film industry, landing a role on the NBC sitcom “Friends,” and even landing a cameo on the upcoming Netflix series “Daredevil.”

Now, the “Wizard of Oz” actor has had a couple of different roles come his way, including a part in the upcoming “Man of Steel,” a role that’s been filled by others, including “Thor.”

As for the “Wonder Man,” he has a cameo in “The Avengers,” where he has his own character named after him.

“Wonder Man” hits theaters on March 17, 2018, and will star Tom Hiddleston and Diane Lane as two superpowered heroes who go by the same name.
